Website
The Website feature lets you create and manage a church website powered by the Adventist Place Website Builder. It's designed for churches without a tech-savvy webmaster — you'll start with a basic website pre-filled with your church's information and can customise it from there.
Getting There
- From the overview page for your church/place
- Click Website in the left menu
Creating Your Website
If your church doesn't have a website yet, you'll see a description of the Website Builder and what it offers.
- Click Create Website
- Your website will begin setting up — you'll see a spinning icon and the message "Setting up website. This may take a few minutes."
- Once setup is complete, the page will automatically refresh to show your website dashboard
Tip: If setup fails, you'll see a message asking you to contact support for assistance.
Website Dashboard
Once your website is set up, you'll see analytics for the last 30 days and details:
Details (right panel)
- Website URL — your website's address
- Status — current status (Published, Pending, Maintenance, etc.)
- Website Builder button — opens the website builder where you can edit your site's content and design
- View Website button — opens your live website in a new tab
Webmasters
A list of people who have access to edit the website through the builder. To give someone access, assign them the Webmaster role under People.
Tip: The Webmasters section shows the description: "Assign people the role of webmaster to give them access to the website builder."
Editing Your Website
