Profile Images
Profile Images are the photos that represent your church across public profiles and church finders. Adding professional images for different categories (like your building, congregation, or services) helps people get a feel for your church before visiting.
Getting There
- From the overview page for your church/place
- Click About in the left menu
- Click Profile Images in the sub-menu
- Click Upload in the top-right corner
Uploading Images
The upload button opens an image chooser where you can select or upload one or more images. Once uploaded, images are automatically tagged by AI — you'll see a brief "Tagging..." spinner while this happens.
Tag Filters
Uploaded images should ideally fit into one of the defined tags. Aim to have at least one quality image for each tag.
At the top of the profile images page, a green check mark indicates tags that have at least one image.
Tags include:
- Bible Study
- Church Building
- Church Service
- Community Service
- Congregation
- Food
- Haystacks
- Music
- Youth
Tip: The place overview page will alert you if profile images are missing.
Editing an Image
Click the ⋮ menu on any image and select Edit. A side panel opens with:
- Name — A title for the image (for your reference).
- Credit — The photographer or source credit. If left blank, it shows "No credit" on the image card.
- Tags — Select one or more tags to categorise the image. Tags determine where the image may appear on public profiles.
Click Save when done.
Setting a Featured Image
Click the ⋮ menu on any image and select Feature. This makes the image the primary/featured image for your church profile. Only one image can be featured at a time — selecting a new one replaces the previous. The featured image shows a Featured badge.
Deleting an Image
Click the ⋮ menu and select Delete. If you delete the featured image, the next available image is automatically promoted to featured.
