Adding/Editing an RSS to Atom Feed
An RSS or Atom feed can be added to your website to show latest news, stories or other content from another website. Many websites have a publicly available RSS URL that you can use.
When a feed is added, Adventist Place will check every day for any new content available in the feed.
To add a RSS or atom feed
- Go to Content>Feeds in the main menu
- Click Add Feed and enter the following:
- Name: a publicly suitable title to the Feed
- Feed URL: The website address for the feed
- Save
Edit a feed
Once a feed has been added, you can only change the name of the feed. If you need to change the URL of the feed, you will need to delete the feed and add a new one. All feed widgets referencing the feed should be updated afterwards.
To edit the feed name:
- Go to Content>Feeds in the main menu
- Click on a feed to edit it.
- Change the name of the feed and click Save
Delete a feed
To delete a feed:
- Go to Content>Feeds in the main menu
- Click the three dot menu next to a feed, and then click delete.
- Click OK to confirm you would like to delete the feed.
Show the feed on your website
To show the feed content on your website, edit a page and add the Feed Widget.
